Estructura gramatical del pasado del verbo to be
*Affirmative:
Subject + Be + complement.
- I was very happy
- They were in the party.
*Negative:
Subject+ Be +  Not  + complement.
- I was not very happy.
- They were not in the party.
*Interrogative:
 Be + Subject + Complement+ ?
- Was I very happy?
- Were they in the party?

Pasado del verbo to be
El presente simple hace referencia al verbo To-Be en pasado, por lo que todas las acciones que se presentan están en ese tiempo.

Pasado simple

Ejercicios del pasado simple.
1. They Worked (work) all day and only slept (sleep) three hours a night.
2. Julio felt (feel) bad so he called (call) the doctor.

Subject + didn´t + use to + verb + complement.
EXAMPLE:
I didn´t use to work in a hospital.
You didn´t use to play soccer.

*Interrogative:
Did + subject + use to + verb + complement +?
EXAMPLE:
Did I use to work in a hospital?
Did you use to play soccer?
